About Me
Hi, my name is Andrew Putnam. I grew up in the small, quaint beach town of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. As a child growing up, most if not all of my time involved the water in so many ways. I loved fishing, surfing, diving, even just going out on the boat and enjoying the day. I thank the ocean for all the fun i had during my child hood. It gave me everything, and one day i hope to in turn give back to it as well as i can. The ocean is a very important part of this world we live on. Sadly, we as humans are killing it slowly but surely. I would like to be part of fixing it any way humanly possible! I believe the ocean is the reason why i am who i am. So, i must thank it for that!

Why The Ocean?
My dad had first taught me to fish at the young age of 3 years old. Everyday after that it was all I could think about! It was like a drug, that constant need to get your fix. So, that is exactly what I did. I fished and fished and it never got old. I was always after that next trophy fish the next exhilarating high of the fishing rod bending over and feeling the strength of the creature on the other side. However, as a young preteen I discovered something new. Something that gave me that high as fishing did but indescribably better! It was surfing, feeling the raw power of the ocean is something else. Knowing that something so beautiful can be so dangerous at the same time. I can remember so vividly the first time i paddled into a wave and took that drop. It is a feeling you never want to end. It was a feeling I chased and traveled for after that day regularly just as I did fishing. The best part is, I only have one thing to thank for it all THE OCEAN!
